Eunice L. Gottschalk, age 87, of Manitou Beach, MI, passed away at home on February 1, 2020. She was born August 27, 1932 in Independence, Kansas, the daughter of Charles and Ethel (Vaughn) Lickfelt. Eunice loved gardening and cooking in her younger days and will always be remembered by her gob cookies. Eunice is survived by her son, Edward Gottschalk of Manitou Beach, fourteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, one sister, Charlotte Rubley of Tecumseh and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Gottschalk, Sr., her parents, Charles & Ethel Lickfelt, four sons, Jeffrey Gottschalk, Eugene Gottschalk, Joseph Gottschalk and William “Bill” Gottschalk, one grandson, Jeremy Dove; and siblings, Thad Lickfelt, Carl Lickfelt, Vaughn Lickfelt, Pat Kent, Charles Lickfelt, Joy Dew, Margaret Downing, and Mary Meyer.
