Eulanda Delphine Petty was born on Sept 29, 1960 in Sumter, South Carolina. She was a bundle of joy to Sarah D. Petty and Wallace A. Petty. Being the only girl with three brothers had its privileges. Growing up a military child, she got to travel all over the country and eventually all the world. At a young age, she was very observant of her mother in the kitchen; she became a great cook herself and a good listener. She accepted the Lord and Savior at an early age. She became very fond of New Life Baptist Church and her former pastors, Rev Thelma & Rev Smith in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
She was educated in Vacaville, California at Armiio High School in the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District where she graduated at the tender age of 16. She was a very gifted child. She was accepted at San Jose State University where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. She lived her life to the fullest taking advantage of life even through her trials and tribulations. Through it all she learned to give God the glory, through it all she learned to give God praise. She was blessed to have two lovely children, Lakysha & Anthony Griffin whom she loved dearly.
