Eula Hamm Crisp, age 78, of U.S. 60 East, Morehead, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, April 28, 2021.

 

Born March 16, 1943, in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Levi Weldon Hamm and Virginia McKenzie Hamm.  In addition to her parents, Eula was preceded in death by her first husband, Estill Hamilton; a grandson, David Charles Ferrell; three sisters, Geneva Hamm, Dorothy Vanlandingham, and Lynda Lou Bates; and three brothers, Charlie, Arnold, and Howard Hamm. 

 

Eula is survived by her devoted husband of 29 years, Earl Kendall Crisp; two daughters, Vicky Hamilton of Morehead and Cindy Howard (Steve) of Berea; two stepchildren, Angie Applegate (Greg) of Morehead and Chris Crisp of Urbana, Ohio; 12 grandchildren:  Quentin Hamilton, Kelley Hamilton (Bobby), Chris Howard (Kaitlyn) Stefanie Kinon (Jeff), Benjamin Howard, Stephanie Brock, Brandon Ferrell (Sancha), D. J. Ferrell, Darrien Stamper, Devon Ison, Kaylib Shroyer, and Sierra Dodds; and numerous great grandchildren.

 

Other survivors include two sisters, Betty Day (Phil) and Beulah Holbrook, of Morehead; two brothers, Oscar Hamm, Jr. (Sheila) of Nicholasville and David Hamm (Jennifer) of Owingsville; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

 

Eula was self-employed with Crisp Seal Coating and had been a SuperAmerica employee for 20 years.  She enjoyed her work and looked forward to the next challenge.
