He was born on September 25, 1931. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Velma Cochran; daughter-in-law, Meredith Cochran, 4 brothers; 4 sisters. He is survived by his wife, Betty Ruth Garner Cochran of Dalton; Son, David Cochran of Dalton; daughter and son in law Carolyn and Steve Elder of Dalton, Sue and Brian Cavender of Dalton; brother and sister in law, James and Myrtle Cochran of Dalton; brother in law, Jack Serritt of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Katie and Nick Carter, Stephanie and Shawn Rose, Christofer and Dana Cochran, Nikolas and Teresa Cochran, Justin and Morgan Elder, Hunter Cochran, and Caleb Cochran; 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
