Eugene V. Sisk, 87, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 20, 2021, at Care One in Holmdel. Eugene, fondly known as “Gene”, was born on March 10, 1934, in Brooklyn, New York, where he was raised and met his beloved wife, May. In January of 1955, Eugene and May were married and began their life together in Brooklyn. Shortly after in 1960, they settled in Hazlet, New Jersey, where they remained to raise their family. Before his retirement in 1996, Gene worked as an Electrical Engineer for Jersey Central Power and Light for many years. He was also a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran, having served our country during the Korean Conflict.
He was predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Anna Sisk, his beloved wife, May (Trezza) Sisk, his son, Patrick Sisk, and his daughter-in-law, Deborah Sisk. Gene is survived by his loving sons, Robert Sisk and his wife, Lourdes Gonzalez-Sisk, of Brick, and Timothy Sisk and his wife, Laurie, of Alisa Viejo, California, his daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Sisk, and his dear siblings, Patricia Fischetti and her partner, Jake Garcia, and Richard Sisk. Eugene also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Mary Gomes and her husband, Harold, Catherine Sisk and her husband, Scott Placke, Laura Olman and her husband, Robert, Christine Halla and her husband, Adam, Elizabeth Sisk, Cassandra Beck, Sabrina Beck, Jocelyn Sisk, and Benjamin Sisk, and his adored great grandchildren, Jack, George, Caspian, Christian, Tristan, James, Matthew, Drew, Mariella, Rosalia, and Daniel. Gene will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
