Eugene Ray Branaugh, 81, passed away on February 8, 2022 in Orange Park, FL. He was born on October 30, 1940 in Yankton, S.D., to the late Earl and Wilma Branaugh.
Eugene retired from the US Navy with a disability. He received a B.A. degree from Sacramento State University in CA, then attended UCLA Prosthetic School and became a Certified Prosthetist, all while raising his children to adulthood.
He was an amazing son, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who exemplified kindness and warmth to all. Eugene exhibited strength and wisdom that has been passed down to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents; maternal and paternal grandparents and brother, Charles Branaugh.
Eugene is survived by his wife of 60 years, Diane Branaugh; children, Mary Albrecht and Jay Branaugh (Mary-Anne); grandchildren, Amanda Guerrero, Ryan Albrecht (Natalie) and Daniel Branaugh; great-grandchildren, Justin Guerrero and Isabel Guerrero; other family members and many friends.
