Eugene R. Bauman age 78 of Zephyrhills, FL , passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at Gulf Side Hospice also located in Zephyrhills. He & his wife Helen also have a home in Osgood, IN . Eugene was born January 15, 1936 in Versailles, IN . His parents were Raymond & Anna Schwagmeier Bauman. He married Helen V. Miller December 29, 1956 .
He & his wife Helen belonged to the Good Sam’s Camping Club which involved camping with other members in various places throughout the United States. He was an avid & skillful woodcarver having taught the art & also belonged to the Waters Edge Woodcarvers Club in Zephyrhills, Florida. Another past hobby he enjoyed was being a Ham Radio Operator & with this, had belonged to the Lafayette & Indianapolis, Indiana Clubs. Working on the family farm in Versailles, Indiana was also an important part of his life. He dearly loved his family & will be so sadly missed by all !
