Eugene P. Kinon, age 78, passed away October 16, 2021, in Godfrey, IL.
Eugene was born October 18, 1942, in St. Louis, Mo. He was a proud military veteran, having served our country in the United States Marine Corps as a Corporal. He was honored to make donations to all branches of military organizations. He was also proud to have retired from the Teamsters Union. He had a special place in his heart for animals and made donations to various animal organizations as well. Eugene lived an active life and enjoyed an array of hobbies which included fishing, bowling, and golfing.
He was a very loving father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
Eugene is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Hilda Kinon, nee Tritch; two sisters, Wanda Rinehart and Myra Thomasson; and a brother, Alvin Wall.
Surviving are his children, Anna Kinon of Alton, IL and Richard Kinon of Folley Beach, SC; three grandchildren, Amanda (August) Sansone of Foristell, MO, Allison Moran of Rosewood Heights, IL and Brendan (Cassie Goheen) Moran of Alton, IL; great grandchildren, Ayla Sansone, Declan Moran; and numerous nieces and nephews.
