Eugene Robert “Gene” Pennington, age 84, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2009. He was born in Lewistown, PA on February 13, 1925, to the late, John Robert Pennington & the late, Anna G. Pennington. Mr. Pennington worked as a machine operator for the Pepsi Cola Company in Lewistown, PA, for 35 years and then worked for the Coca-Cola Company for 12 years. He was a member of the East End Gang in Lewistown, PA.
Survivors include his sister & brother-in-law, Edna M. & L. D. Gable of Hiram, GA; brother & sister-in-law, Blaine S. & Lucienne Pennington of Enola, PA; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Pennington of Nahunta, GA and Rachael Pennington of Powder Springs, GA; nieces and nephews.
