Eugene Feldman, a resident of Canoga Park, California, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021, at his home in Canoga Park, due to heart failure. Eugene Nathan Feldman was born at Butterfield Memorial Hospital in Cold Spring, New York, to Dr. Seymour and Evelyn Feldman on September 12, 1958. He grew up in Beacon, New York, with his two older brothers, Leslie and Gary.

He graduated from Beacon High School and earned an associate degree from Dutchess Community College. Following this he earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Marist College. He had a strong interest in creative arts, such as hand-sculpted clay figures that he used to painstakingly create short stop-motion animated films using an 8 mm movie camera. He also enjoyed painting, reading and theater, including outdoor Shakespeare performances. In 1986 and 1987 Seymour and Evelyn passed away, and Eugene continued to live in the house in Beacon, while working for several years for the Post Office.

After Gary passed away in May 2000, Eugene moved to California near brother Leslie, moving from Van Nuys to Canoga Park in 2008. He also worked for a few years as an assistant editor at Creative Screenwriting Magazine in Hollywood, near the Pantages Theater. He was diagnosed with idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy in 2014, and was treated with medication to slow progression of the heart condition. In November and December 2020 his heart failure began to worsen,
