Eugene J. Cavatorta of Carver, passed away at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton on July 26, 2021 at the age of eighty. He was born on June 2, 1941 in Medford to the late Albert and Ruth (Jackson) Cavatorta. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joanne (Leto) Cavatorta; son, Andrew Cavatorta and his significant other Alison Irvine; daughter-in-law, Meeghan Ziolkowsky; granddaughter, Zia Cavatorta; brother, Frank Cavatorta and his wife Marcia. He was predeceased by his son Michael Cavatorta. Eugene and his wife, Joanne owned Hingham Grain and Spice Company in Hingham for a number of years. He was a member of the writing club at the Plymouth Senior Center. He had an outrageous sense of humor, contagious laugh and was an exceptional cook.
