Eugene “Gene” Wozniak, 88, of Peru, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Gene was born September 21, 1933 in LaSalle to Leo and Alice (Weber) Wozniak. He married Ann Schmitt on December 28, 1985 at St. Patrick’s Church, LaSalle.
Gene retired from Sunstrand-Sauer in LaSalle and later from Real-Time laboratories in Deerfield Beach, FL. Survivors include his wife, Ann of Peru; two brothers, Bill Wozniak of Las Cruces, NM and Walter Wozniak of Wisconsin and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Connie Witek.
