Scobbie worked for several companies, but his passion was HOME IMPROVEMENT and LANDSCAPING. It wasn’t unusual to hear a lawn mower and to look out your window and see him cutting your grass. To know Scobbie was to love him; his bark was bigger than his bite. Scobbie had a heart of pure gold. He loved his family, especially the children. If you needed a babysitter, you could always count on Scobbie. He always spent time interacting with his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, laughing, talking, giving advice, and just having fun.Scobbie loved riding horses, fishing, barbecues, and attending family functions.
Eugene F. Williams (Scobbie) was preceded in death by both his parents, Eugene F. Williams, Sr., and Anna B. Beeler; his paternal grandparents, Willie H. and Fern Williams; his maternal grandparents, Howard and Mary P. McGuire Connell; brother, Kenneth B. Beeler; nephew, Antonio V. Tolliver; and niece, Renekia L. Birdsong. Scobbie was 57 years old when he departed from his earthly life on Sunday, May 3, 2020, peacefully in his sleep at home.
