Eugene Clay Demastus, 80, of Clarksburg passed away at home surrounded by family on October 17, 2022. He was born in Clarksburg on April 1, 1942, the son of Marshall Alfred Demastus and Stella Mae Cain Demastus.
Eugene worked as an airline mechanic for Lockheed Martin for many years. He also delivered newspapers and cut grass at Bridgeport Country Club. Eugene was known as a hard worker. He enjoyed watching television and driving around. He loved children.
Eugene is survived by four sisters, Barbara Hawkins of Enterprise, Malissa Demastus of Enterprise, Edna Yoders of Clarksburg, and Rebecca Price of Mannington; several nieces and nephews
In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by his wife, Elenor Mae Rowan Demastus, who passed on October 1, 2017.
