Eugena (Jean) was born on October 17, 1928 in Waldron, Arkansas to Vernon and Vera Hunt. She grew up in and around Bakersfield, California.
In the mid 80’s, Jean went to truck driving school and graduated top of her class. She joined Doug on the road and together they drove all over the United States for the next few years. Jean liked to let everyone know that she won more safety awards than Doug.
Jean had many hobbies which included sewing, quilting and crocheting. She was a very talented seamstress. She loved to sing country western and gospel music. Jean was famous for her cooking. Her children and grandchildren enjoyed many of her delicious meals and desserts. Everyone loved her fried pies and biscuits.
Jean also enjoyed watching sports, especially the Atlanta Braves, boxing and any sport her grandchildren played.
