Etta Williamson Massey, of Destin, FL, formerly of Alexandria, LA, was called to her heavenly home on September 3, 2009, surrounded by loving family and friends. Etta was born in 1917 in Carrolton, GA., to Robert Samuel Williamson and Annie Crockett Williamson and was one of eight children. She was married to Earliss Massey and was the mother of two daughters.
Survived by her daughter, Donna and husband Stephen Banks, grandchildren
Laurie and Taylor Hood, Chad and Cindy Hardwick, Tyler Hardwick, Dorie Banks, four great grand children, Crockett and Garner Hood, Ben Hardwick, and Aydan Banks, sisters Martha Jane Moe and Frances Gardner, Sister-in-law Jean Williamson, numerous nieces and nephews, and special family friend Pat Smith.
Etta was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 62 years, Earliss Massey, daughter Judy Massey Patterson, siblings Carl Williamson, Ezra Williamson, Mary Holloway, Clyde Williamson, and Randall Williamson.
