Ethel V. Kingery, 94, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017. She was born April 25, 1923 in Surgoinsville, TN to the late James H. and Bertie L. (Eaton) Vaughn. Ethel was a member of Mohawk United Methodist Church, had worked at Eli Lilly and was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by daughters: Charlotte (Ted) Coil of Fortville, Nina R. (Dr. John, DDS) Roberts of Connersville and Rosie Kendrick of Carthage; 5 grandchildren: Ty (Justina) Coil, Robby Kendrick, Reggie Kendrick, Megan Roberts and Jordan (Tara) Roberts; great grandchildren: Cash Allen Coil, Cruz Allen Coil, Carson Gabriel Roberts and Colton Grady Roberts; former son-in-law Rick Kendrick. She was preceded in death by her husband Irvin H. Kingery, whom she married July 19, 1941; brothers: Floyd, Howard, Robert, Ray, Farley and Claude.
