Ethel Rose “Rusty” Iannuzzi, 76, of Woodbridge, passed away Sept. 27, 2010 at The Arden Courts, Hamden surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Carmine N. Iannuzzi. Rusty was born Feb. 11, 1934 in Chaffee, MO., daughter of the late Leonard and Mary Louise Ziegler Schmitt. Upon her marriage in 1953, Rusty and Carmine Sr. established their home in Woodbridge where they raised their seven children. In the late 1960’s, Rusty established her home day care center. For more than 35 years, she dedicated herself to providing hundreds of area children and their families with a safe, loving and nurturing environment.
