Ethel Joyce “Nanny” O’Neal, of Roanoke, AL, born on November 24, 1935 in Hogansville, Georgia, to the late Inez Dovie Ramsey and the late Claude Ellis Ramsey, passed away at age 82 on June 20, 2018 in Apache Junction, Arizona.
She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas O’Neal and dearly loved wife of the late Hugh Whitney Nolen. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lee Ann Hubbell. Joyce is survived by her son, Doyle Ramsey Nolen; daughter, Pamela Denise Barnes; grandchildren, Zachary Nolen, Kyle Nolen, Zoe Nolen, Kyra Nolen, Brian Barnes, Rhonda Honikel, Meghan Proctor and Whitney Hubbell; and great-grandchildren, Ramsey Nolen, Avery Nolen, Camden Pacheco, Julia Barnes, Nolen Honikel and Eli Honikel.
Joyce cherished her relationship with Jesus Christ. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed being with family, taking road trips and vacations. She will be dearly missed.
