Ethel Orthea Hawkins Dooley of Eatonton, GA, age 91, died Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at her residence. A native of Morgan County, GA born June 17, 1930, she was one of five children of the late Wiley Winburn Hawkins and Clara Mae Teagle Hawkins. She graduated from Morgan County High School and married Hoyt Clifton Dooley, Jr. of Greensboro.
Survivors include her son and his wife, Hoyt Clifton Dooley III and Vicki of Eatonton, GA; daughter, Mary Dooley of Lincolnton, NC; grandchildren, Christina, Nancy and Regina; and numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Annie Lois Hawkins, Ruth Evelyn Hawkins Cargile, Wallace Winburn Hawkins, and Teagle Augustus Hawkins.
