Ethel H. Horton Adkins, 92, Anderson, died October 9, 2005 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after a sudden illness.

She was born October 5, 1913 in Sandy Hook, Kentucky, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. She lived in this area since 1941. She was a Grade School Teacher from 1933-1936 in Sandy Hook, Kentucky.

She retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 43 years of service. She was a graduate of Morehead State College in Morehead, Kentucky. She was a member of East 38th Street Free Will Baptist Church and the UAW Local #662.

She is survived by her two Nieces: Joyce & husband Michael Brandenburg and Thelma Hackleman. Two Nephews: George Crisp and Johnny Crisp. Several Great Nieces and Great Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband whom she married September 9, 1936: Elmer Adkins who passed away December 1, 1979. Parents: James & Elder Landreth Horton. Siblings: Prudy Crisp, Elmer Horton, Carrie Horton, Vivian Horton and Walter Horton.
