Ethel Francis Hurst passed away on Tuesday, November 17, in Sandestin, Florida. She was 83. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Bill. Ethel was born in Jackson, Ky. She moved to Dayton, Ohio, in 1947 where she worked for Univis Lens, then later Dayton Home Furnishings, and Krispin’s Contemporary Furniture. Ethel is survived by a brother Charles Sheffield, of Youngstown, Ohio, three nephews Rick, Brian, and Scott; a brother Robert Carpenter (Darona) of Navarre, Florida; and a nephew Greg, of Pittsburgh, Pa.
