Etha “Bonnie” Yvonne Lloyd, 86, of Clarksburg passed away March 24, 2012 at United Hospital Center. She was born October 11, 1925 in Arcola, WV, the daughter of the late Corbet G and Madge Sutton Gillespie. She was preceded in death by her husband Don Lloyd in 1994.
Etha is survived by two sons, Don Lloyd; Charles Lloyd and wife Linda; one brother William and Roger Gillespie; sister-in-law Birdie Gillespie; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by a son Darrel Lloyd.
Etha worked in several restaurants, including the Maryland House, Sonny Croft and Oliverio. For several years, she volunteered at UHC. She survived cancer for more than 50 years. She will be greatly missed by her sons.
