ESTHER WEINHEIMER
Esther Weinheimer, 91, a lifelong Atlantic resident, passed away Saturday morning, July 22, 2006, at the Atlantic Nursing and Rehab Center.
Esther was born June 22, 1915, on a farm north of Atlantic, Iowa, the daughter of Martin and Cecelia (Jensen) Olsen.
She was a 1933 graduate of the Atlantic High School and then attended business college.
On May 22, 1937, Esther married Roy Weinheimer in Fairmont, Minnesota.
She worked for the Federal Landbank, and for 22 years was the cashier and bookkeeper for the Pioneer Theatre Corporation. She also worked as a doctor’s assistant at the Atlantic Medical Center for 23 years, prior to retiring.
