Esther Castro Villa, 82, of Oxnard, was suddenly called home to be with the Lord on March 9, 2014, with her loving children and grandchildren by her side.
Esther was born March 7, 1932 in Mexico and moved to Oxnard in 1957 after she married her love of her life, Joe “Chuy” Villa. Esther dedicated her life to being a wife, mother and grandmother. She took an active interest in raising her grandchildren, who she cared for as her own children. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe “Chuy” Villa, grandson Jerry Villa and great granddaughter Aliyah Holderby.
She is survived by her children Henry Villa, Violet Villa, Christina Valenzuela, son-in-law Fred Valenzuela; stepchildren, Tom Villa and Patsy Segovia; grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition, Esther is survived by 5 of her 11 siblings.
