Esther is survived by her son, Joel Debra Van Eck of Kalamazoo; 2 grandchildren, Kelsey Van Eck and Lindsay Van Eck; step-grandchildren, Willie Miller and Jenny DeRyke; several step-great grandchildren; sisters, Gertrude Nap and Alice Stanton; brother, Richard Betty Vander Molen; and several nieces and nephews. Also preceding her in death were; a son, Daniel Van Eck; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
