Newark – Esther Orbaker Benjamin, 88 died Friday, October 19, 2007 at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.
Family and friends may call Monday (Oct. 22) from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Norman L.
Mrs. Benjamin was born the daughter of the late Cornelius and Jeanette Moose Orbaker on October 5, 1919 in Marion, NY. She attended Newark schools and had worked for many years at Bloomer Brothers in Newark.
Mrs. Benjamin had a special love for music and working in her garden. She also enjoyed watching Judge Judy on TV.
Mrs. Benjamin will be remembered by her twin brother Lester Orbaker of Newark; sisters Geraldine Blankenberg of Newark and Betty Davis of Webster; many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Benjamin was predeceased by her husband George Benjamin in 1984; brothers Casey, Ray, Jack, Earl and Gerald; sisters Christine, Leona and Irene.
