Esther S. Veselka (Nee: Serlenga) of Cherry Hill and a former longtime resident of Burlington, passed away at JFK Hospital in Cherry Hill on Wednesday at the age of 88. Daughter of the late Rose and Luciano Serlenga of Capricotta, Italy, she was the loving wife of the late MartinVeselka.
She was also predeceased by her brothers Wedie and James and her sister Carmella. Mother of her son Martin (Martha) Veselka and their two sons: Paul and Wade; daughter Deborah (Late George) Ford and their two lovely daughters Alison and Jennifer. She is also survived by her sister Mary Field, brothers Eli, Louis (Barbara) Serlenga and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Esther’s caring nature will be missed. She was an employee of NJ Bell for 28 years and worked as a supervisor also instructed at Bell. Esther was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Burlington.
For the past 8 years Esther lived at Cherry Hill Senior Living and was a member of the bell choir called the “Ding-a-Lings”. The family would like to say Thank You to the staff and community of Cherry Hill Senior Living for making her life a pleasure and for the care and dedication you showed to Esther.
