Esther M. Evans Hall, 97, of Lexington, formerly of Heritage Place, Morehead, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016, at NorthPoint Healthcare Center in Lexington.
Born October 6, 1918, at Bruin, in Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Jenny Conn Evans. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister.
Her husband, Stewart H. Hall, passed away in 1976.
Mrs. Hall is survived by three daughters, Patricia ‘Patty’ Vincent and Dan of Lexington, Barbara Wells of Clearwater, Florida, and Kathaleen Pickens of Mansfield, Ohio; one son, Stewart Allen Hall and Bonnie of Nicholasville; four grandchildren, Joni Trimble, Vicki Hamac, Jill Vincent Cummins, and Duane Hall and six great grandchildren.
Other survivors include two sisters, Merle Shumate of Mansfield, Ohio, and Magelane Clark of Enterprise, Kentucky, and loving nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hall was a retired seamstress from Cowden Manufacturing in Olive Hill.
