Esther M. Campbell, 87, of Williamsport, died Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at The Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital.
Born June 15, 1923 in Watkins Glen, NY, she was a daughter of Benjamin and Maude Schofield Comfort, Sr.
She was a 1942 graduate of Ralston high School.
Surviving are four children Linda L. Dawes (Wayne) of Aiken, SC, Sandra K. Beaver (James) of Williamsport, Melanie A. Corson (Larry) of Williamsport, and Mark D. Campbell (Mary) of Williamsport, 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, father of her children James P. Campbell of Warren, MI, and a sister-in-law Betty Comfort of Trout Run.
She was preceded in death by a grandson Robert Follmer, III in 2007 and four siblings.
