Esther L. (Moran) Gugenheim, age 93, passed away while surrounded by her loving daughters at Wingate at Reading Nursing Home in Reading, on September 25, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Bernard Gugenheim. The cherished Mother of Mary Gugenheim of Plymouth and Beverly Mat and her husband Jeffrey of Melrose. She was the beloved Nana of Haley and Kira Mat of Melrose. She was the sister of the Reverend Richard Moran of Boston, Elizabeth Power and her husband Jim of Northborough and the late Thomas, Marty, John, Sister Theresa, Barbara Moran and Mary Harvey. She had a special place in her heart for her niece Maureen-Harvey-Cullen of Braintree. She also leaves behind many treasured nieces and nephews. Esther was born on January 30, 1925 in Boston to Thomas and Nora (Connolly) Moran. She worked as a secretary for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for 20 years before she retired. Esther found joy and peace in her faith and family. She loved spending time in Plymouth and with her Grandchildren.
