Esther Jorgensen, 93, of New Buffalo, Michigan, died Sunday, December 26, 2004, at the Life Care Center of Michigan City, Indiana.
Jorgensen was born April 1, 1911, in Chicago, Illinois to Henry and Barbara (Vercal) Weckerlin. On July 26, 1941, she married Harold T. Jorgensen in Chicago. He preceded her in death on January 17, 1983. Mrs. Jorgensen was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in New Buffalo. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Jorgensen enjoyed traveling and needlepoint. She loved her dog and companion, Suzy, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include her cousins, Richard and Juanita Weckerlin of Deerfield, Illinois, and numerous other relatives.
