Esther H. Soderquist, age 97, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Victor Carl Soderquist, Sr., passed away peacefully Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Carolton Chronic and Convalescent Hospital. Born in her home in Fairfield, the daughter of the late Kirk and Nora Whiteman, she had been a lifelong town resident. Mrs. Soderquist worked as an assembler for many local companies including Bridgeport Brass, Bassick, Bridgeport Thermostat and Sikorsky Aircraft. She was a member of the women’s auxiliary of the Loyal Order of the Moose and the Fairfield Elks BPO 2220.
