Esther Eugenie (Pusey) Ballard-Silcott, 57, of Meriden, beloved wife of Winston R. Silcott, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017 at her home. Born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, she was the daughter of Casita Carmelita Jarrett Snape of Detroit, MI and the late David A. Pusey. Along with her husband and mother, Esther is survived by two sons, Trevor Robinson of Piscataway, NJ and Carlyle Ballard of Meriden; four daughters, Siobhan Peniston-Simons of Bronx, NY, Karen Ballard of Danbury, Natasha Ballard of Washington, DC and Carlyne Ballard of Manhattan, NY; a brother, David A. Pusey, Jr.; three sisters, Janet McFarlane of Rochester, NY, Ngozi Crooks-Mac of Houston, TX and Casita Marie Snape-Adams of Detroit, MI; six grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
