Esther E. Rothrock, 101, of Hellertown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Valley Manor, Coppersburg. She was the wife of the late Floyd Rothrock who passed away in 1954. Born in Upper Saucon Township, she the daughter of the late Mark and Emma (Giesau) Konold. Esther worked in the kitchen at St. Luke’s Hospital for most of her life until retiring. She loved gardening, crocheting and playing solitaire.
Survivors: she will be lovingly remembered by her sister Anna Tilley and her husband James of Coopersburg; daughter in law, Betty Rothrock; grandchildren, Bruce, Besty and Rhonda Rothrock, step-grandchildren Fritz Rothrock and Diane Caciolo; 2 step-great-grandchildren and 3 step-great great grandchildren. Esther was preceded in death by her children, Floyd Jr., Bruce and Nancy Anne; siblings George, Harold, Robert, Charles, Elwood, Mark, Viola and Beatrice and her step great grandson Jeremy.
