ROWLANDDURHAM Mrs. Estelle Moss Rowland, 88, of Durham, died on Tuesday, July 13, . Rowland was born in Nash County to the late Robert and Lois Murray Moss. She was a Red Cross Volunteer and a member of the Joyful Noise Senior Citizen’s Choir. She is survived by her son, Robert Elmore of Pittsboro; two daughters, Ruby Batten of Durham and Deborah Fletcher of Bahama; one sister, Bessie Mae Barnes of Nashville N.C. and 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
