Estelle “Billie” Corine Gallant, 88, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 12, 2018, at her daughter’s home. She was under the care of Alliance Home Health and Hospice and her loving family.
Estelle was born February 20, 1930, in Mineola, Texas, to Iciam Andy Bullard and Lottie Ora Hickman Bullard. She grew up in Tyler, Texas, where she attended school in a one-room schoolhouse.
On December 15, 1948, she married Robert Emmett Gallant in Yuma, Arizona. To this union were born five children, Sherry, William, James, Linda and Madonna. As a family they settled in Idaho Falls after Bob’s retirement from the US Navy. He then worked and retired from the INEL. Together, Bob and Estelle owned and operated 2 B’s Ceramics in Idaho Falls. Estelle also worked various jobs to help their family while Bob was serving in the Navy. Bob passed away on August 9, 1997.
