Essie had attended Ashland, Kentucky city schools and later married the love of her life, William “Bill” Bartlett in 1952 and he preceded her in death in 1992. Mrs. Bartlett had been self employed as a Care Giver for 40 plus years prior to her retirement.
Survivor’s include, her niece, Janet Potter, Ashland, Kentucky; one sister, Ruth Messamore (husband-Bill),Kentucky; one brother, Sam Gallion (wife-Arlene),Kentucky; two special friends, Lori Perry (husband-Trent) and Pat Conn (husband-Jack), both of Muncie; several nieces and nephews and special friends.
Besides her husband of over 40 years, “Bill”, she is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and three brothers.
