Pawtucket – Ervin W. Kmiec 97, passed away Friday June 23, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Aniela “Nancy” (Losiewicz) Kmiec and the companion of Edna Kingsley for thirty-three years.
Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Alexander and Agnieszka (Kopcynski) Kmiec. Mr. Kmiec was employed as an Electrical Foreman at Rhode Island Hospital for twenty years before retiring. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving during WWII. He received the World War II Victory Medal, American Theatre Medal, and the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre Medal.
He is survived by his loving daughter Nancy A. Miller and her husband David of Pawtucket, two granddaughters Kristin Relihan and her husband Padraic of Swansea MA and Katie Soave and her husband Joseph of East Providence, one great-granddaughter Hunter M. Relihan. He was the father of the late Joseph A. Kmiec.
