Herbert J. (Herb) Martinelli, 87, passed away in Alamogordo on Monday, June 28, 2010.
Herb was born May 14, 1923 in Trinidad, CO to Joseph F. and Violet (Menapace) Martinelli and had lived in Alamogordo since 1960. He served in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific during World War II and in the Border Patrol until 1977.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kim Robinson in 2001 and his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly of the family home; two sisters, Eileen Fellows of Santa Fe, NM and Esther Brown of Denver, CO; three grandchildren, James Robinson and Nichole Robinson of Colorado Springs, CO and Jenny Robinson of Mesa, AZ and one great grandson, David Robinson.
