Ernst K. Kugler
Ernst K. Kugler, age 87, of Bethel, CT died Monday, October 28, 2013 at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of the late Elfriede Paula (Scheu) Kugler.
He was born in Murrhardt, Germany, January 8, 1926, son of the late Wilhelm and Elisabeth (Elser) Kugler. He came to the United States in 1953 and was a Bethel resident for more for more than 60 years.
Ernst was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by 2 sons: Rudi Kugler and his wife Karen of Newtown, CT, Gary Kugler and his wife Carrie of Newtown, CT; daughter: Sue Manzo and her husband Rick of Marietta, GA; six grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister: Trudel Elser. He was a friend to many and will be deeply missed by all.
