Ernie Martinez passed away October 20, 2021 in Rupert, Idaho. Ernie was born to Jesse and Norma Martinez in Los Angeles, California on June 12, 1957. He is survived by his son Kade, two grandsons and two sisters Becky Martinez who resides in California and Nadine Martinez who resides in Arizona. Ernie moved to Rupert, Idaho 16 years ago wanting a new start in a small town after having lived in California all of his life. He was happy with this move and new adventure. Ernie loved working as a teacher and enjoyed watching the children he taught learn and discover new things. Ernie had a zest for life and loved to make people smile. He was quick to help out when he could.
Ernie will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
