Ernestine (Morneault) Pelletier, 88, of Bristol, formerly of Plainville, passed away surrounded by her beloved family on Thursday, January 7, 2016.

She is now reunited with the love of her life, Raoul, who predeceased her in 2004.

Born in St. Agatha, Maine on April 24, 1927, she was one of six children to the late Ernest and Cora (Chasse) Morneault.  She and Raoul settled in Plainville, sharing 57 years of marriage and raising a family of seven, all of whom she was very proud and enjoyed watching grow throughout four generations.  She was employed for fourteen years at Marlin-Rockwell-TRW, from where she retired in 1979.  Known for her beautifully crocheted afghans, Ernestine enjoyed gifting them to her family and friends just as much as they appreciated receiving them.  A talented singer in her earlier years, she also enjoyed playing cards, but loved nothing more than being a Memere, surrounded by her adored grandchildren.  The matriarch of her family, she will be dearly missed, leaving many cherished memories and legacy of love.

She is survived by her children, Daniel of North Windham, Idola Raymond and her husband, Philip of Deerfield Beach, FL., Linda, Robert of Plainville, Rena Pelletier and her husband, Joseph of Bristol, James and his wife, Trudy of Plainville, and Nancy and her husband, Norm Ravagnani, Jr., of Portland; her daughter-in-law, Linda Miles Pelletier; fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.  She also leaves her brothers, Ronaldo ‘PeeWee” Morneault of ME., and Lorenzo “Pete” Morneault of CA., and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her sisters, Aline and Geraldine Brochu and her brother, Joseph “Jello” Morneault.
