Ernestine Ethel Barrymore, 94, of New Haven passed away March 20, 2016 in Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Haven on Dec. 24, 1921, she was the daughter of the late George and Clara Williams Ellis. She lived for many years in Elm Haven where she dedicated her life to loving and supporting the children and people of the community. Ernestine is survived by her children, Christine (Jeremy) Weston, retired New Haven firefighter Curtis Tolson Jr., Cynthia (Lorenzo Jr.) Vincent and Kevin (Sabrina) Tolson Sr.; her 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; special cousin, Earlene Holt and a large loving extended family. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Barrymore, her son, Ronald Barrymore, her sister, Georgianna Pollard, her brother, Thomas Ellis Sr. and the loving father of her children, Curtis Tolson Sr.
