Ernest “Wayne” Hart, 91, went to be with his LORD on April 4, 2011, at his home in Greenville, Ohio.
He was born on
March 18, 1920, in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana. He served his country in the US Army during WWII. He retired from Indiana General in 1982 and moved to Anderson where he lived until moving to Ohio in 2008. Wayne was a member of Anderson Baptist Church, Keenagers at Grace Baptist Church, and Senior Saints at Anderson Baptist Church.
He is survived by his children, Nancy Crane Phil of Ridgely, Tennessee, Barbara Parrish Rex of Anderson, Danny Hart Carolyn of Palmetto, Florida, Wanda Rains of Greenfield and Brenda Hart of Greenville, Ohio; grandchildren, Leah Jones-Lee, Michael Kee Rachel, Amy Dukehart Mike, Kelli Brawner Dave, Derek Parrish, and Amanda Kaiser Sean; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Nellie Foster Hart who passed away February 20, 2008; his parents, Ernest Lanning & Della Bee McElroy Hart and his sister, Hesper Reeves.
