Ernest Sidney Smith Sr., (Buddy) 92, of Middletown, husband of the late Hattie Lee (Davis) Smith, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, October 20th. Born in Middletown, he was the son of the late Leonard “Lemon” and Ola Mae (Dixon) Smith. Ernest lived in the Middletown-Portland area all of his life. He was employed by Phillips Brothers Chemical Company and later employed by the City of Middletown for over thirty years. He was a member of Cross Street A.M.E.
