Mr. Bailey was born on January 20, 1950, in Huntington, IN to Ernest L. and Mildred (Bundy) Bailey. His parents preceded him in death. He married Kathy A. Warkentien on December 27, 1980 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Huntington, IN. She survives and resides in Huntington, IN.
Mr. Bailey graduated from Huntington High School in 1968. He served in the United States Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War. He worked in operations at CF Industries. Ernest attended St. Mary Catholic Church, Huntington, IN and was a member of VFW #2689, American Legion Post #85 and Eagles Lodge in Huntington, IN.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one step-son, Kevin Perkins; and one brother, John Bailey.
