Ernest L. “Ernie” Livingston, 58, of Harrodsburg passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at his residence after a year-long battle with lung cancer.
Born, February 20, 1958 in Bloomington, he was the son of the late Charles L. and Barbara J. (Hostetler) Livingston.
Ernie was a Sight Supervisor at Aecom Construction where his employer’s loved him and Ernie enjoyed the friends he made there. He was also a member of the Sheetmetal Workers Local #20 in Indianapolis.
Ernie was a loving husband, and the best dad and papaw ever.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Sally Heath-Livingston of Harrodsburg, one daughter, Tonya Long (Phillip) of Bloomington, beloved grandchildren, Gavin and Brayden Robinson, Gracie Long, Zayne Dwigans, and Ashton Duff, brothers and sisters, Tim Livingston (Shermagne) of Jeffersonville, Toni Lady (Dan) of Bloomington, Ron Livingston (Conita) of Fayetteville, John Livingston (Jay) of St. Petersburg, FL; and Shari Stannard (Mark) of Bloomington, one sister-in-law, Melody Pope (Rick) of Harrodsburg, great-niece, Chevelle Knight who enjoyed sharing tea parties with her uncle Ernie, whom she loved, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his loving daughter, Yvonne Dwigans in May of 2015 after a two year battle with cancer, and one brother, Harold Livingston.
