Ernest L. Buckner, age 70, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was born on December 23, 1944.
He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Sam and Della Buckner; and a sister, Jean Shull.
He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Glenda Buckner of the home; daughters and sons in law, Celeste and Will Taylor of Cohutta, Jacinta and Brent Capehart of Chatsworth; a son, Lee Buckner of the home; stepdaughter, Amanda Gladson of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Timothy Townsend, Scotty Townsend, Sabrina Townsend and Bentley Hancock all of Chatsworth, Colby Gladson, Trevor Gladson and Landon Gladson all of Cleveland, TN; several great grandchildren; sisters and brother in law, Dora West, Myrtle and Clyde Martin all of Chatsworth; brother, Vernon Buckner of Chatsworth; special friends, Tammy and Hank Hancock and Steve Owens; and several nieces and nephews.
