Ernest E. Murphy, beloved husband, father and grandfather died peacefully on September 13, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by Helen, his wife of nearly 43 years; daughters Catherine Rivera (Manuel) and Cynthia Stanley (Frank); grandchildren Steven and Christopher Rivera and Jake and Maegan Stanley. The family would like to express special thanks to the St. ElizabethAnn Seton Catholic Church community, Dr. Marissa Sandera, Gina, Cindy, and Mandy (START), the Zambranos, the Arringtons, the Schepplers, and the Knights of Columbus. The familygreatly appreciates the outpouring ofcompassion and prayers shown by his many friends. Ernest became a Catholic at the age of 13. He lived hislife based on the faith he held dear. He honorably served his country in the Air Forcefor 25 years. His greatest pride was his wife and daughters, and later his grandchildren. He deeply appreciated the gift of life and never wasted a minute of it. He remained constant and loyal to his friends and family.
